Dome School of America is a joint effort, put together and hosted by Dan Sutterfield of Sutterfield
Services L.L.C. and David Holmes of Cozy Spray Foam Enterprises. Dome School of America is without
question the most advanced concrete dome construction course offered in this country. This course is
not a sneak preview into dome building. We are offering a full blown experience from A to Z. Our
course includes:
* Full 12 days of construction experience and technical training (class size from 8 to 12)
* Design and construction of air forms (for the do-it-yourselfer)
* Full construction experience of 346 sq. ft. transportable dome structure made of
light wt. shotcrete including:

Dan Sutterfield has approximately 10 years experience
building thin shelled concrete domes. The most notable
of his accomplishments was the home he built for Paul
and Barberra Stitt of Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
David Holmes has 8 years experience in the dome
building industry both in building new domes and
repairing dome exteriors on storage domes. In the last
few years he has built the project referred to as
“Lockesland” owned by Nina Pearlmutter of
Kennebunkport, Maine. The challenges of dome building
have caused both Dan and David to look for
answers and improvements. This dome
building school is a compilation and a sharing
of these discoveries. From new technology
fabric forms to molded overhangs, this
schooling will more than pay back your
investment in the first dome that you build.
Hope to see you at the training!
